Terms of use

Last updated: 12 September 2026

Welcome to everyone's favourite part of the interwebs: the terms and conditions. Here they are in their full glory.

By using our beautiful website humancaretag.com, or engaging with any of our amazing social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest and X, you agree to these terms. Right now the site is a handful of pages describing the idea, a sign-up form for telling us you want to hear when it launches, and a form for getting in touch. The terms are short because the site is small.

Where these terms say the site, they mean the website and those accounts together, unless we say otherwise.

If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

1. Who runs this site

humancaretag.com is operated by Purpose Driven Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Purpose Driven Limited. "You" means you, the person using the site or engaging with our accounts.

2. What this site is right now

Human Care Tag is in development. This site exists to explain the idea and to find out how many people want it.

That means:

The site and the email list are intended for people in the United Kingdom and the European Union. If you use the site from anywhere else, you do so on your own initiative and you are responsible for any local law that applies to you.

How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy policy.

3. Using the site

You may read this site, share links to it, and quote from it with attribution.

You agree not to:

If you break these terms we may block your access. For a site like this, that is the whole enforcement mechanism.

4. What belongs to us

The content of this site, the words, the design, the layout, the illustrations, the code, and the arrangement of all of it, belongs to Purpose Driven Limited or to the people we licensed it from. It is protected by copyright and by other intellectual property rights.

Human Care Tag is our brand name and we claim rights in it.

Where we have put a copyright or ownership notice on something, please leave it there.

You may quote short extracts, and link to us, as long as you credit Human Care Tag and do not suggest we endorse you. Anything more than that, republishing, adapting, building a product on it, or using the name for your own offering, needs our written permission first. Ask, and the answer is often yes.

On the idea itself, and we would rather say this plainly than bury it. The concept of telling people how you want to be treated is not something anyone can own, and we are not trying to. Talk about care tags. Use the idea in your own life. Make your own. What we protect is this brand, this name, and the specific material we made.

5. Links to other places

The site may link to other websites, including our social media and our email provider. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for them, their content, or what they do with your data once you are there. A link is not an endorsement.

6. No guarantees about the site

We put the site up in good faith and keep it accurate as far as we reasonably can. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows:

The site is provided "as is". You use it at your own risk, and you are responsible for the security of your own device.

One thing that matters more here than the rest. Human Care Tag is about how people prefer to be treated. It is not therapy, not medical advice, not psychological treatment, and not a substitute for any of them. If you are struggling, please speak to a qualified professional or your doctor.

7. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for any loss or damage caused by our own failure to look after your personal data properly, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability to you in connection with the site. That includes any loss of profit, business, data or anticipated savings, any indirect or consequential loss, and any loss arising from relying on information here, which is informational and not advice.

That exclusion does not apply to anything in the first paragraph of this section, including data protection claims. Those cannot be excluded and we are not trying to.

8. If part of these terms does not hold

If a court decides any part of these terms is unenforceable, that part is removed and the rest continues to apply.

If we do not enforce something straight away, that is not us giving up the right to enforce it later.

9. What these terms cover

These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about your use of the site. Nothing we have said anywhere else, in a post, a caption, an email or a conversation, forms part of them.

They are for you and us. Nobody else can enforce them.

10. Changes to these terms

The site is being built, so these terms will change. When they do, we update the date at the top, and the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies. Please look at it occasionally.

When Human Care Tag launches as an actual product, these terms will be replaced rather than amended, and anyone on the email list will be told.

11. Law and courts

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site, are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country you live in.

12. Product terms

This section is a placeholder. It is not in force and it does not apply to anything.

Not yet in effect. When Human Care Tag becomes a working product, a separate set of terms will govern it, covering at least:

None of that exists yet, none of it is being offered, and nothing in this list is a commitment to build any of it. It is here so you can see what is coming.
