We care about how we are treated. We care about how you are treated too. So here is what happens with your data. Fully transparent, in plain language.

We collect as little as we can, we use it only for the thing you gave it to us for, and nothing follows you around. Ask us if anything is unclear.

1. Our promise about your data

We do not sell your data. Not now, not when there is a product, not ever.

We use it only for the thing you gave it to us for. Nothing gets quietly repurposed into something you did not sign up for.

If we ever want to use it for research, we will ask first. We would take out anything that identifies you, taking part would be entirely voluntary, and saying no would change nothing else.

2. Who we are

Human Care Tag is run by Purpose Driven Limited, the data controller, registered in England and Wales. We apply UK and EU GDPR rights to everyone, wherever you live.

3. What we collect

Join our email list and we get your first name, email address, and which version you want (for your life, for your team, or both), plus the date, time and IP of your sign-up as proof you asked.

Our host, Hostinger.com, keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, time.

Website statistics. We use Umami, privacy-first analytics that count visits and pages read. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no profile. We see that four hundred people read a page, never that you did. You can turn it off on this page at any time, see Cookies and analytics below.

The contact form. Write to us and we get the name and email address you put in it, what you wrote, and the date, time and IP of the message. We use it to answer you. It does not go on the email list.

The spam check. That form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which works out whether you are a person without following you around. It does not track you and it is on no other page.

No care tags exist yet, so we store nothing you have written.

4. On what basis we collect

WhatLawful basis
Name, email, version choiceConsent. You opted in and confirmed by email. Withdraw any time.

Sign-up timestamp and IP addressLegitimate interests. Proof that you consented.
Your email on the suppression listLegitimate interests. So we never contact you again.
Server logs, security, keeping the site onlineLegitimate interests. A site that works and does not get attacked.
Cookieless website statisticsLegitimate interests. Knowing whether anyone reads this. No way back to you, and you can switch it off.
Contact form: name, email, your messageLegitimate interests. You wrote to us and you want an answer.
Contact form: timestamp, IP address, spam checkLegitimate interests. Keeping the form working and stopping it being abused.

5. Who else touches it

Five companies, under contract and on our instructions only.

If you message or comment on our social accounts, that conversation happens on those platforms and runs under their own privacy policies. We only see what they show us.

We share data beyond those five only where a court or regulator legally requires it, or where it is needed to protect someone's safety or to defend a legal claim.

6. Where it goes

Your data is held in the UK or the European Economic Area. Where a supplier holds or accesses it elsewhere, we rely on adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement and Addendum.

7. How long we keep it

If Human Care Tag never launches, we will tell you and delete the list.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

One honest note on deletion. If you ask us to delete your data we will, with a single exception: your email address stays on the suppression list, so you are never contacted again by accident. You can ask what is on it.

Using these rights is free and we answer within a month: [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm who you are.

9. Cookies and analytics

Almost no cookies, and none that follow you. No banner, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting. Your browser may store a small technical marker when you submit the email form, only to stop it being sent twice. It holds nothing about you.

The contact page is the one exception. Its spam check, Cloudflare Turnstile, may set a short-lived cookie on that page while it works out that you are a person. It is there only to make the form work, it cannot be used to advertise to you, and it is set nowhere else on this site.

Turning off the visit count. Our analytics never identify you, but you should not have to take that on trust. Use the button below and this browser stops being counted, on every page of this site, until you turn it back on. It is free, it takes one click, and nothing else changes.

10. Children

Not aimed at children. The email list is for people aged 16 and over. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we will remove them.

11. If you are unhappy with us

Tell us first at [email protected] and we will try to put it right.

If that does not settle it, complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, or if you live in the EU, your own supervisory authority. It is free and costs you no other right.

12. When this page changes

This page will change as the site gets built. We update the date at the top, and email the list before any change that materially affects how we use your data.
